Congratulations to Adam and Kyle, who alongside Heather and Daniel from the Stover and Adronov groups respectively are recipients of the 2025 BIMR Future Materials Innovators Award. The title of their winning proposal is "Carbon Nanotube Decorated Photocrosslinked Microgels as pH and Temperature Sensors", and we look forward to hearing about their progress!

Evelyn and Strahinya presented their thesis work at this year's thesis day! Evelyn won the 2nd place award in the Polymers and Materials section. Both had amazing presentations!

Evelyn and Strahinya attended the 53rd Southern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference hosted by Guelph University this year. Congratulations to Evelyn for winning a presentation award!

Recent publication titled "Interplay of Luminophores and Photoinitiators during Synthesis of Bulk and Patterned Luminescent Photopolymer Blends", a collaboration with Dr. Rachael Evans' Photoactive Materials Group from the University of Cambridge, has been selected as an ACS Editor's Choice article! Congratulations Kathryn, Dr. Kalai, and all involved.

Pleasure hosting Dr. Rachel Evans, a collaborator from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Evans also presented a great talk for the BIMR seminar series.

Everyone found out what Fariha actually does at her PhD Seminar. Wonderful presentation!

Kevin and Dusan presented their work at the 25th Photonics North conference, hosted in Montreal, Quebec this year.

Kathryn and Fariha presented posters at the 16th International conference on materials chemistry (MC16), hosted in Dublin, Ireland! Kathryn also received a prize for her poster.
